| Squat Patrol and Pee Parade i feel like i am on squat patrol when lily may is out of her xpen. i even write down when she pees so i will have a idea of her schedule. then when i put her in her xpen where the paper is and she goes potty on it we have a pee parade with treats and lots of good girl and anything else i can think of. puppies make you do the darnest things don't they? my housework is not getting done because i would rather play with her. gloria |

| Oh this is so sweet.. These babies are so well worth it.. I too feel like I was in a potty parade when Bleu was a baby... Enjoy your new baby ....It sounds like you are having so much fun... I had to try and find balance and I still have not found it yet when it comes to my baby.... He is the "WORLD" around our house. We do what he says when he says it... Hugs Vicki Ps Welcome to YT!

| Gez, we still do the happy dance and mine are almost 2 yrs old & 10 months old! Talk about them making us do crazy things... I still do the Yankie Doodle Dandy song after they each have their bath. I think to myself... oh if there's a hidden camera somewhere they'd really get a laugh! And can they make a big man talk baby talk? Yes!!! I love seeing these macho men just loving on these little ones!

| We know the "potty parade" well in our house. It breaks my heart when Cooper pees somewhere off of his pad and looks at me like, "Okay where's the cheering and clapping?" |

| Welcome Gloria ... ! Your post is so timely for me today and I will now be part of this parade too. My little Brady who is just 6 months went outside to do his duty for the very first time today! ( let me please explain) ... I am in the process of healing from spinal surgery and we have lots of stairs leading outdoors, so we thought it best to just train him to the pee pee pads until I was able to watch him properly. Today was his first excursion outdoors and He had no idea how big a deal it was until we all started to clap and praise him. Lots of way to go Brady and Such a good boy Brady. I swear he smiled and then began to run around with happiness all over the yard. What a huge, HUGE step for such a little, little guy... LOL |

| glad to know we are not the only ones....lol....Smokey would go outside when it was not too cold or wet outside...but he still goes pretty much where he wants inside....he would use the pee pads to pee but never to poop....and then he decided to be a little man......lol...two inches high all around my house....so now we wear the belly bands....it is so funny cause he thinks he is still pee on things hicking his leg....but we still say good boy even when we "almost " step on "stuff".....and my dear hubby who did understand why i got a dog now calls him his dog and then looks at me and smiles....lol...they are so cute together......smokey is all of 6 -8 inches tall and dear hubby is over 6'5...... ___________________ www.dogster.com/683315 |
