| Is she weird? Ok, I have to know if this is something a lot of Yorkies do or if it's just my dog. Paprika sleeps with her eyes open, not just like a crack, I mean wide open...it's really kinda freaky. Sometimes her eyes are up in the back of her head and all you see is the white part but other times it looks like she's looking straight ahead but she is dead asleep. How is this possible??? Other times she sleeps with her eyes closed like a normal dog. She been doing her whole life too. When I first saw her do it I freaked out. lol Please tell me, is my dog weird or what?

| My dog has only done this when I tie their topnot too tight. It pulled back their scalps to the point they can't close their eye lid. If it isn't the case with your little one, then "Yes" I think it is weird. |

| Yep, she's weird. (Just kidding) I have never seen a dog do that (thank goodness). I think that sight might scare me.

| It's especially scary when all you see is the white part of her eyes. She looks a Yorkie of the UnDead! lol

| My dog does this at times, and she does not have a top knot so I know it isn't from that... sometimes her eyes are closed, sometimes they are partly open and I see white- I always close her eyes when I see it. I also have a puppy that will sleep with it's eyes partly open, and I see white- no top knot there either since they are only 5 weeks old. |

| Yay! Finally someone else with weird dogs. Lol Thanks for making me feel a little bit better minniemn. It's very creepy when she does this. I've tried closing her eyes but she just wakes up, looks around all confused then falls back to sleep with her eyes open again. It doesn't freak me out as much as it did the first time I saw it, but it's still creepy.
