| My yorkie is neutered but still humps I had my youngest neutered when he was 4 months old and he is now 8 months old and he has humped for at least the last 2-3 months. I know it's not because he had sexual experience because I got him at 8 weeks old. Also, when I got Rickles at 3 1/2 years of age I had him neutered and he will jump on my male cat Pumpkin and hump him. It doesn't seem to bother Pumpkin at all. He will just stand there for a minute or so and then walk off. Has anyone else had this experience? Joyce Ann |

| Males sometimes do still hump after being neutered. It really depends on the dog. Neutering isn't a guarantee that they won't hump.

| humping is also a sign of dominance. my friend's female dog used to hump people all the time. so i dont think it is sex related. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Exactly! That's why females do it too. It's not "sexual" to them , it's a sign of dominance. He just wants to show that he's still "top dog".
