| Be patient and keep trying to be friends. I once had a sorta friend that lived upstairs. We would have great conversations, but when we passed - she often didn't acknowledge me, I would just sort of shrug it off. We became very good friends, and discussed it a few years later. She didn't wear her contacts most of the time, and therefore was never sure if it was me or not. We laughed so over that, and I always drove after I found out she was blind.

| Well, at least you said hello! You never know where you will find a good friend. But it doesn't have to be everyone. The pups are definitely a good conversation starter. I have a neighbor with a yorkie, too, he is only about 3 lbs. (She is MUCH older than me - and that's pretty old.) She is nice though, they came down to see our new babies.

| Put a note in her mailbox, anonymous, to visit YorkieTalk.com - and we'll all convince her that her dog needs a playmate! LOL.
