| Do they look like they would make cute brother and sister? I need advice I saw a newspaper ad a week ago about a couple wanting to rehome a 7-month-old yorkie girl because they feel like they don't spend enough time with her and on top of that the wife is pregnant. She's AKC and UTD on all shots and from a reputable breeder in the area (according to the owners). I've been wanting to adopt a sister for cocoster (he's 1.5 yrs old) for some time because I don't want him to grow up as an only furbaby. I even bought clothes for her already (how can I resist? ) BUT today I received most recent pictures of the little girl and she looks so grown up! Now I'm torn because I cherished every mimute of cocoster's puppyhood and I won't have that with the girl. Am I being stupid? First picture is cocoster and the second ones are of the girl. Do they make cute sister and brother? Did anyone adopt an older puppy and feel sad about missing their puppyhood? |

| She is really, really pretty. Ranger is 7mo and I still consider him such a puppy! It's actually almost funner now than when he was smaller because he is much heartier and can play for long times and go for long walks and go to petstores and all that fun stuff. He's also (dare I say it- it might go away??) potty trained! She is just adorable! I can't wait to hear what you decide, they would look so cute together. What a v-day present for him!

| Do it! We got Osbourne when he was 6 months and I think that was a good age for introducing him to our other one. They still act like a puppy at that age. The only thing is we don't really have any younger picture of him, not a big deal, but I sometimes wonder how he looked. |

| I think they look great as brother and sister! But I will say this... I got Bella when she was 10 weeks old (she is a poodle mix), and I got Harley at 4 years old, and to be honest, I will never have the connection with Harley that I have with Bella. I know that sounds harsh, and mean, but I'm being honest. I think if Harley was a puppy when I got him, it would have been different. I don't know how to explain it. Put it this way, I can clean Bella's poopy butt or nasty eye crusties and not get grossed out at all. But I get grossed out with Harley, even though I love him to death and would do anything for him! Its more of a sub-concious thing maybe, I don't know. Kinda like your skin-kid can get sick and you have no problem cleaning it up or taking care of them, but if it were someone else's kid, it is a different story! It doesn't mean you don't care, because I love Harley sooo much and would do anything for him. I don't know. |

| I say get her , how could you pass up that adorable little face, just look at her she is too precious. Our first yorkie Kenji was a year old when we got him and in a way a rescue . Kenji and I shared that special connection for whatever the reason. Our second yorkie Kassie was 9 weeks old when we brought her home and while I love her to bits that same connection isnt as strong. I hope that makes sense it is hard to explain . Maybe it is more than Kenji fit my personality better. Good Luck with your decision. Sorry for rambling I just wanted you to see another point of view.

| Yes, I have gotten yorkies at 2 years old, in fact three of them, I loved them as much as any I have gotten as a puppy.... Yes to getting her.. I think they would look so sweet together... and 7 months is not old, my goodness she is still a baby, some people do not let them go until they are at least 4/5 months anyway.. so what to heck... If you get her let us know on this thread... gee I have a hard time keeping up when a new thread is started... not always but I am not the greatest neither... |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would get her. She is a cutie and they make a great match. I got Pixie at 13 months and loved it. I have a 4 month old I just got and I prefer them a little older. I think 7 months is a great age.
