| Does your Yorkie wear a collar? Just as the title says, does your Yorkie wear a collar? This doesn't mean you are hooking a leash up to it, just more for identification. I'd always use a harness for walking with a Yorkie. Are we not able to make polls on this forum |

| No collar just harnesses.......although I did see a Coach Collar that I was tempted to get him but not for walking though it would just be for fashion not to be attached to a leash.

| Nope! Toto owns lots of things but not a collar ... way too dangerous! I always have her tags attached to one of her harnesses if I take her out.

| No collars on mine either. They are microchipped and that is all. For one it is dangerious and two it mats their hair too bad. I even have a nice leather one for Tinkerbell with her name in rhinstones. It is not worth it.

| Interesting, we've been putting a collar on our 4 month old for the past week just to get him used to it. Can't decide what I want to do though. I do fear him darting out a door one day with no collar. |

| I use a harness for Ellie's leash. Her tags get attached to the harness. I would let her wear a collar for decoration with her tags on it but they attach to the harness just fine, so there is no need. The harness comes off as soon as we come in. She wears nothing inside. I would let her wear a harness or collar inside as long as she is supervised but it is just easier to take them off because I can't watch her every second. Harnesses and collars should be taken off with no exceptions when your pup can't be supervised in my opinion.
