| Too Cold Today it is so cold Gracie is not wanting to go outside and go potty. It has been -27 with windchill most of the day. Unfortunately she went poo out in the garage earlier. The garage is attached and the door was open. My daughter had to clean it up. But I can't blame her I would not want to either. We usually do not have this cold of weather.

| See This is why I have Sadie going in my basement on pee pads. My hubby thought I was crazy not to train her out side, but it's winter and she was 10 weeks when we got her! So the basement is good for now, she will go out side like her big brother Chewy when she gets older and it gets warmer!!!

| I trained mine to go on the piddle pad at first. She is a winter baby too so I understand what your saying. Now I can't get her to use the pads, she insists on going outside, even when it's freezing out there and the wind blows her over every time she squats to do her business |

| When we first got her in Sept. I tried to train her to go to a pad and she refused so we just took her out. She actually liked the solid floor better than the pad. Then we started mopping with spic n span and it seem to confuse her and she went outside more.

| I can't even imagine those temps. Never gets less than -1 C here. Just some useless information ... CoCo and Coffee's breeders only plan for puppies born in the spring/summer, CoCo was born at the end of August - our spring, and Coffee was born in December - middle of summer. They only have litters between August and March - neat hey? I wishing warm weather for you guys, but that means our winter will be on it's way Sheilagh

| I hate the cold, and I feel so bad for Rocky because he has to potty in it. It's days like these that I wish I trained him on the peepads. I think he kinda likes the cold though, he takes his sweet time when he's outside where most dogs hurry up, do their business then run back in!

| Oh, poor doggies that have to go out in such cold! I can't even imagine~it was over 80 here today and yesterday was 84 (I don't think that's normal even for us!). I don't blame the poor dog for going in the garage. I don't think I'd even let my dog out in such cold weather and I'd expect him to go in the garage! Do they really get used to that weather? Brrrr....I'm getting cold just thinking about it, LOL. I'm sure you appreciate the Spring!
