| What should I be teaching Joey right now? I keep hearing that pups are most impressionable up to 16 weeks of age - that they should be taught important behavioral and training skills at this age. What should I be focusing on the most right now? Joey will be 12 weeks on Saturday. We are still trying to get him potty-trained and have taught him how to "sit". Is there something else important that I should be teaching him right now? Thanks! |

| Yeah, Dash is 18 wks. and I was wondering the same thing. Like if he were the "perfect puppy" (which he is, of course) what should he know right now. |

| I truly waited to long to start the training... But now I know, it is never to early... I would start with - sit - down - stay- come-- those kinds of things. I was amazed when we started his Obedience classes. that they had Puppy classes and that they were so young, I didnt think they would be able to concentrate and learn that early... I was SO wrong, there are some great books out for training commands and tricks, and alot of sites and threads on here. Good Luck,, they will do fine. Start now.
