| So I got a yorkie....that's not a yorkie! What a weird situation. I contacted a breeder, actually the ONLY breeder in my area that I could find online. She told me she didn't have any Yorkies at the moment but a good friend of hers does. SO I go to his house, look at the puppies, everything is great. I just went to pick him up last night and he was saying something about the puppy being a "silky", and I thought he was just referring to his coat or something. Now it turns out that the puppy is a "silky terrier". I honestly had no idea there was a difference! I've been looking up information online today and there definitely is a difference, but oh well. They look almost the same to me, and he's still purebred and AKC registered. I guess I'm just going to be a silky person instead lol! He is so adorable, I couldn't help but fall in love with him, and so sweet too! I'll try and add a picture too...sorry it was really hard to get a good picture of him, he didn't want to look at the camera. I guess I have to add them as attachments. |
