| My Holly Boo Is Bonking!!!!! My Holly Boo will be 16 weeks old next week, last night she positioned herself over my sons foot and began to bonk it!!!!! My Princess does this too but is 6 years old! I mean....is it normal? Why does my baby girl do this?? Just thought she was a bit young to display this type of behaviour. HELP PLEASE

| The best way to describe it is she is learning that something down there feels good, and another thing is that she could be trying to establish dominancy. A simply and firm no should do it. Its very common for babies to do it when they are young, Parker started at a young age!! |

| I agree, this is not a sexual thing, it's a dominance thing. Females will "hump" another dog or "leg/foot" as a show of dominance or control. So a firm no as you are removing her, will do. May have to do it more than once, but I would suggest your son do it to establish his control over her.

YT 2000 Club Member | I to have always read it's a display of dominance. The yorkie we just bought for my sister is doing this, she called me up and asked me if it was normal for him to be doing that already, I told her what I had always read. She also called some vets and asked them and they told her the same thing.

| Thankyou Thankyou to you all for your helpful replies. Its put my mind at ease now and i shall follow your advice of a firm no whilst removing her. Good job i dont do that on my Hubby's leg as my sign of Dominance!!!!!

| great thread i would have thought she was in heat too lol..but that is a young age...great info to know that doesnt mean heat at a young age..
