| Mary, I hate to say it, but I think they just jacked up the amount of dogs that were rescued to boost their donations. I personally donated as soon as I found out the puppies where probably going to go there. I've also filled out an adoption request for anyone of them, and have heard nothing yet. Kathy |

| Ok here is the email i sent after getting the very first one " So there were 20 total that the humane society turned over to you guys ? But why not all of them? I would just feel better about you guys having them instead of the shelter. Don't get me wrong the shelter is a great place but that is what it is a shelter not a loving foster home like they deserve. If there is anything that i can do to help in any way please don't hesitate to let me know." And this is the one i got back from the rescue group "The shelter or the mill? We got 70 dogs out of the mill, we took 20 and were able to find breed rescues to help with all the rest. Is that what you meant?" See it has me totally confused because i was told from the beginning that there were only 31 dogs total

| THIS IS MY THOUSAND POST YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Ok really confused now because i got the email from the rescue group saying "Just had to send you a picture of one of the dogs before and after that we got out Saturday. She is now doing well as are the other 11 that came here. Thank you so very much for all your help. Stay in touch please.' And it had the picture attached to it but then when i go to the site it says that.....that puppy mill rescue was on 02/02/02 but the one that i was involved in was on 01/26/08 i am wondering now if maybe they just got the 2 mixed up or if there is something they are just not telling me

| Well that is the thing i have talked to the director of the humane society and i have even went and visited her we had a real nice chat about it all and she told me it was 31 she even told me where different ones had went and are being held so i just have this gut feeling that she is telling me the truth and the email was either a mix up or a fib and i am hoping it was just a mix up

| Puppy Mill Bust I am with the rescue that this is from and trust me it is real.....2 different busts! One happened the weekend of 1/26/2008 and there were 31 dogs seized in that one(Mitchell Indiana), still being held at the shelter due to legal issues. The other was 75 dogs(outside Mitchell Indiana) and that was on 2/2/2008. We transported all of the dogs and took in 20+ ourselves and the others we found other rescues for. This is NOT a hoax to get more donations for our rescue at all, that is a promise! We are waiting to hear of more dogs coming from the bust we got 75 from and we are also waiting to see if we are going to take in the 31 from the previous bust. In both busts the dogs were in horrible shape and we have spent many hours cleaning, grooming and vetting these poor babies. Many have tumors and lice and kennel cough and other things going on Trust me when I say this is very much true and very sad also that these dogs have had to live the way they have www.petitepaws.org |

| Puppy Mill Bust Mary, I think that when you were sent the email about the 11 that were there it meant the 11 that were at that foster home at that time. I am assuming the pic was of Aurora? She is one that came in and was thought to be a Shih-Tzu and after all the mats and nasties were cut off her she is now a poodle...lol. I know you know about the ones that went to the shelter and they are still holding them. I think these that we got from the miller are where she(Robin) was getting her pups from that she sold. There were Yorkies, Shih-Tzus, Poms and Chihuahuas we got from there. we couldn't take them all, wish we could have, but we are only so big and so many foster homes. We did however find good rescues for the ones we could not take |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | This stuff makes me sick!! I absolutely hate hearing about these puppy mill things!!! You are an angel for helping to rescue these poor babies. I hope more can be done to keep these people getting any dogs back or doing this again later down the road!!!
