| Constant Whinning... All last night my dog was whinning non-stop...to me she didn't look like she was in pain and everytime I went to console her she ran like she was almost playing...this happened a couple of weeks ago and we figured it was because she was maybe in heat, so my question is how long does it last and is there anything I can do to make her stop or comfort her?We are havingher spayed at the end of the month BUT I don't know if I can have a good nights rest until then with all the whinning...Thanx in advance! |

| Usually they are in heat for about three weeks. There isn't much you can do that I can think of.

| When my min pin was in heat that is how she acted and i tell you it was the worst nights ever she would even come up to my face and paw at me and whine to wake me up she only did that for about 4-5 days though the rest of the time she was just humping everything in site And it bites but there is nothing you can do Well i guess there is you can do what i am going to do with my min pin and that is get her spayed if that is a option for you

| Well you might just be lucky and have one that actually keeps herself clean But if you are not sure that it is her just being in heat then i would take her to the vet it doesn't cost much for just a checkup and it is def. better to be safe than sorry. Mary
