| Flunked rescue/rehoming 101 Just a little up date on my little man Harley. I wanted to get another little girl some time soon....but when I seen this little guy I just had to do something. He was used for breeding and spent most of his time in his kennel. Well, got him netured thinking it would make it easyer to find a home for him. NOT!!! There is no way in He** that anyone is going to get him from me. He is the sweetest little baby!!! I call him mama's little lover boy. Take a look at these pics.......could you give him up??? | Oh girl I sooooooooo know what your going through...I have rescued and rehomed about 10 dogs and this last one is hard to let go...she is a shih tzu/yorkie mix and so sweet...she is really agressive with food and toys which scared the bejezzus out of me though..but gentle in so many other ways..I always said if I kept a rescue then my rescuing days were over lol.. What a dolly you have there!! Dawn |

| Thank you.....I think he is a cutie too. The man that I bought him from said he was not house trained. I swear....he was house and pee pad trained in ONE WEEK!!!! (it took me 2 years to train my female!) Learned to fetch the ball in ONE DAY....and "high five" in TWO DAYS!!!! I had NO intensions of keeping him, I just wanted him away from that #$%@!!# piece of #$%&$ breeder (thats what he called himself) and in a nice home....but not my home...lol. Now, nobody would even have enought money to get me to sell him! Kathy |

| Oh my gosh!!! He's so ADORABLE!!! There is NO WAY that little guy would be leaving my house, for sure, LOL! (which is why I could never be a "foster" parent"....I give HUGE kudos to those who can do it, but I'd have to keep every single one that I fostered, I just know it!). Isn't it amazing what a stable home life and love will do for something living? I'm really so happy for you and for Harley!!! I have to admit, I almost didn't read this b/c I thought it was going to be a really sad ending when I saw the title, LOL....what a wonderful ending to the story! Bless you and Harley too!

| When I bought Harley...it was for HIM. But keeping him was for ME. I am sooo glad I dont do rescue/rehoming to make my living....my first I had to put down when she was 15, my 2ed I just lost a few months ago, she would have been 18 this summer. Now Harley, who I hope to have for many years. My daughter told me to "just give it up Mom.....you suck at rehoming". I told her to just wait......I am still looking for a home to rehome you and your brother!!!!! Kathy |
