| Crystal Tag Microchips and ?s before neuter I tried posting this on Health section but got no response. I am getting Jambo neutered very soon and will get him microchipped during the process. His vet told me that they micro chip with Crystal Tags. Anyone know anything about it or have a preference? I am asking the vet to have an exam and pre-op blood test before the neutering so he can check on anything else that should be done during that time. I have read about pulling out baby teeth which haven't fallen out (will ask about that). Any advice on what questions I should ask? Thanks for all the great help as always! |

| The question I would ask are: What kind of anesthesia is used? (I would hope Isoflurane or Sevoflurane to maintain). There are also some that they should NOT be using. Do they put an IV in for an open line to him? Thay need to. Do they do surgery on a heated surface? They should even for a short surgery. Toys breeds can lose body heat very quickly. Do they require the dog to stay overnight? If so, is someone there awake with him?
