| You can probably call and check with the AKC but if she's already registered with ACA (my little girl is with them too) then why do you need AKC? Are you showing her?

| The only she can be registered is if both her parents are AKC registered and then she could have dual registration with AKC and ACA. I'm pretty sure that is the only way because ACA does not transfer to AKC.

| I have papers here for me to register Prince and angel (who are both over a year old) but I never did it. Never sent them in. Im not a show dog mom, I dont even know anything about it. I didn't think it really mattered since they aren't in the lime light......unless you count my video camera as lime light lol

| Akc The AKC will be happy to answer any questions. but question you asked is no if parents are not AKC OR A RECOGNIZED registry..a recognized registry is one from another country with transfer privileges. There are no registeries within the USA that AKC recognizes except itself. ACA, APRI, CKC (Continental) UKC, NKC, SKC..and many others are not accepted. |
