| My Little Muscle Man! We took Pogo and Higgins to our vet here in Florida today. Pogo needed his regular yearly exam and shots. Except for growing cataracts, 13 year old Pogo is in good health. Higgins had thrown up a couple of times since yesterday and wasn't eating much. Other than that he makes the Engergizer Bunny look like a slacker, racing around and playing as usual. Doc Macgill was delighted to see Higgins again, since he had taken care of him when he was just a baby last year. He pronounced him the most well muscled Yorkie he has ever seen. Not an ounce of fat on him. Higgins weighed in at 6.5 lbs -- just right! He had about a half a degree of fever, but his tonsils are okay. He gave us some medicine for the throwups and an antibiotic for an inflamed tummy. Said he could hear a lot of gas in there. We'll keep an eye on him. The Macgill's gave him a new frisbee thingy, so Higgins thinks he's in heaven......... Higgins has gotten to be REALLY GOOD at catching his little soft frisbee. I wish our digital camera could catch him four feet in the air, flipping over, and catching the thing! It's AMAZING! When he makes a good catch, we applaud and cheer and he does a big racing lap at top speed around two campsites and back to us. Tooooo cute. Boy I sure love our dogs! |

| Glad to hear both your boys are in good health, it must be that Flordia weather and a mom and dad that think they hung the moon. I wish all dogs could be loved like we love ours........................Cindy |

| Hey Mary Ellen .... hey Ana .... I have a GREAT idea!!! Let's do fly down to Florida!?! What fun that would be!! I can just feel that Florida sun on my poor fluish head!! Glad Pogo and Higgins got good reports from the vet! The Toto also got a good one from Dr. Lucy while we were home ... well, almost perfect! The little fatty still has too much weight! Don't know how, but we have to find a way for her to get more exercise! I asked the vet here [when she got her health certificate to fly Christmas ... which, BTW, noone ever asked to see!!] ... about the cold and her little paws, he said it wouldn't hurt her! I find that a little hard to believe, since we have snow and ice that seems to linger forever! If it's too cold for me ... it's gotta be too cold for Miss Prissy Paws!! Maybe if we drag out her frisbee and try again, we can get her to try and chase it? She just always dodges it like we are trying to hit her with it!! Tips ... Mary Ellen ... we need Frisbee tips?? Toto sends Puppy Kisses to the Cyr Boys!!! Bettye & Toto
