| Wellness food price increase policy!! I don't know if this has been posted already but I know it may be of interest to those that feed their furkids Wellness foods. Wellness Minimum Retail Price Policy Last week, pet food retailers around the US received a letter from the Wellness Company (Old Mother Hubbard). In their infinite wisdom, THEY have decided to implement a minimum retail price policy. This policy states that we are not allowed to sell their product below their minimum retail price THEY have established in their letter. Unfortunately, Wellness believes the free market does not adequately reflect the true value of what you the consumer should pay for their products. THEY believe you should pay MORE than what we believe is a FAIR profit. Going forward, all Wellness products will be sold at the minimum price allowed so we are not in violation of THEIR policy. We apologize for this inflationary price increase caused solely by the manufacturer. Their decision is considered both wrong and un-American, by the staff at The Hungry Puppy. Please feel free to contact THEM regarding this policy at 800-225-0904. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. The letter from Wellness: http://www.thehungrypuppy.com/wellness.pdf This absurd policy will take effect February 29, 2008. If you wish to stay on Wellness, our suggestion is to purchase before this date. Coupons Valid only for Internet Orders Copyright © The Hungry Puppy 2008

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i wonder what its going to cost then. if its too much they will lose a lot of business. While they are a really good premium food there are a few others that are just as good and will be cheaper. i feed wellness to my dog and my cat. they love it.
