| help needed for summer! Ok those of you that live in a country that actually gets a proper hot summer won't understand this .. but... I went to barcelona for a couple of days last week and left Buddy with my mother and father in law. They have 2 yorkies already and yes Buddy was well looked after but they told us that Buddy spent alot of time just waiting by their front door and the first night (we were only gone 2) he sat making small whimper noises It made me feel awful so my holidays from now on are going to be wherever we can drive to so COME ON YT if you all put your minds to it and a good few months of work i'm sure you can make that big yellow thing called a 'sun' appear over England just for a little bit for me in the summer... please

| You can have all of the summer heat and sun you want...we have more than enough here in Texas. In fact, we always leave in August to avoid the heat. Maybe we can trade back and forth...some of our heat for some of your coolness.

| thanks for all those sunny thoughts i feel warmer already what would really solve it would be if we could take Buddy on an aeroplane with us, i'd gladly just pay for a seat for him. We are supposed to be an animal loving country over here but you try finding a hotel that allows dogs! We are going to Ireland for 10 days, taking Buddy, so we are having to drive, it will take about 14 hours and when we are on the ferry ( about 2 hours) Buddy isn't even allowed out of our car. And i know you'll ALL understand my frustration as OUR yorkies are cleaner and better behaved than most humans!

| Did you leave something that smelled of you with your parents? It sounds gross leaving a worn shirt from your hamper but the smell comforts them. Also bringing their own toys and bed helps.
