| Puppies gone to their new homes!!! The last puppy left yesterday to go to his new home. OMG I am lost without them, i spent most of my spare time grooming my guys and then cleaning up and playing with the puppies. Now i am sitting in the evenings with nothing to do. My guys are running away going "no mommy you already brushed me twice today!!!!!" I cant even go out to their puppy room without getting upset. I feel like i split them up and lef them on their own, even though i know each family they went to already has yorkies i still feel that the puppies might miss our home!!! DH thinks im silly says that i have made 6 families happy and lucky to have such good puppies, but i want them all back!! BOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!

| I don't think I could do what you're doing. I have fish - koi - and when I have to thin the herd, I have a hard time letting them go, even knowing the people to whom they're going. And those are fish - not puppies. As much as I love my fish, I love my dogs much more. I know the care level my animals get from me ... and I can just about admit that someone else MAY give them care (almost ) as good as I do. But I worry. And I'd lose *sleep* over furbabies, wondering if they're OK, if they're getting enough to eat, if they're settling in, yada yada yada. Your concern shows that you care ... many places are just after the almighty buck and don't give a flying fig where the pups are going or how they're doing after they get there. You've chosen well: they'll be OK. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I know how you are feeling.....the last of my Lexie's four puppies left in early January and it was hard to see each of them go. But I think I noticed that the first (which happened to be a favorite of ours) and the last (because it meant our time with our first litter was over) were the hardest . I too know they all went to good homes; most with other dogs/yorkies, but it's still hard. ((((((Hugs to you))))))))

| Aaaaaaaw, I know exactly how you feel and it is so hard to say good-bye, but it does get easier and when you begin to receive the calls, pictures and notes showing you how happy they all are ....THAT is when it all feels right and good. Big Hugs to you...... Janie |
