| akc reg problems Anyone had any problems registering their yorkies names with AKC? I sent in the paperwork forever ago and i keep having to go back and forth with AKC on the name i chose, His name is YOGIBEAR and they tell me i have to pick a different name because that one is already taken. how does it make sense with the hundreds of thousands of yorkies out there that you cant have two yogi's? Any suggestions? |

| They will not register two or more dogs with the exact same names as it causes confusion. I would just spell it differently or put your last name or a kennel name in front of Yogibear. |

| If you go on the AKC website you can put in a name and it will do a search for it. That way you can see if the name is taken before you submit it. (unless of course someone already has it on it's way in the mail). Hope this helps.
