| Jessie Just wanna to find out from u people with wisdom and experience -- Jessie is pregnant day 56 (12thJuly). On what day must I start to look out for her babies to arrive. It will be her first time. I had her X rayed and it seems like there is 2 babies. She si very small 4pounds. The X rays showed that the puppies is also small and we expect it to be a normal birth and not a C-section. If she wants to give birth during the night , how will I know ?? Will she cry and then I will hear her ?? My hubby does not want her to sleep in the room with us. Also do I need to seperate the male during the night ?? Will he do something to her babies ??

| Puppies should arrive about 63 days. Some of them will start scratching as if to build a nest when the time gets closer. |

| 63 days is the typical delivery date, although they can come early or late just like humans. Watch for signs like her temp dropping, and her eating to slow down, she might even became less active. If she starts trying to make a nest out of her blankets or paper she is getting close. With her being so tiny you might want to routinely check her temp if it is low you might want to stay close as possible to her. Watch for a green discharge that is bad, and watch for having in trouble. Usually the females wont cry out. make sure she is in a confined area so if she does have the pups it will be in a safe place. I would seperate the male out, the she will not want him with her during that time. He really wont understand that they are tiny babies at first. Let us know how things go.

| Zowie delivered on day 59. I would definitely separate her from the male at night. If she has access to your bedroom door, she might scratch when she is getting ready. We had Zowie in the livingroom - my husband let her in our room. She started trying to make me let her on the bed (she doesn't sleep in the bed with us) which I did. Hubby left for work at 4am. I woke up to licking at 4:45 - 1st puppy was already cleaned up. I was very lucky and am blessed with a lovely litter of 5 - 7 1/2 week old babies (all over my feet right now!)
