| Barking in his Sleep? Dexter is 6 months old and very rarely barks in everyday life. i think i have heard him bark 4 times since we brought him home. but in the past few days he has started barking in his sleep! every time he falls into a deep sleep, he starts barking! hes been sleeping in our room with us for a few weeks now, but just the past few nights he has been waking me up with his barking. when i bring him into work with me he does the same thing if he falls asleep! does anyone elses yorkie do this!? its kinda cute i just think its really strange for him to do so when he doesnt bark "in real life" (im going to try to get a video of it and will post it in the future if i can catch him ) |

| So cute! Tia does this sometimes....but it's a little muffled sounding bark. Like she's mumbling in her sleep. Hope she's chasing something fun!

| Oh, yes! Mine does that, too. It's usually when she is in a deep sleep and dreaming up a storm!

| Guess they have dreams too... Infact, just last night, Meka fell asleep next to me... and after an hour, out of nowhere she just started howling (which ive never heard her do...ever).

| OH, yay!!! Roxy does that too, it really scared me when I first got her but after a minute of evaluation I realized she was dreaming!!! She barks, growls, runs, and many other things when she sleeps... I LOVE IT! It is the cutest thing in the world... It's almost like a little muffled bark after bark, then some baby growls... and her legs start moving like she's running, and her little ears and nose and eyes are twitchin every once in awhile... Sometimes her eyes are even mildly open... her mustache will start to twitch, and she'll bark, its so cute... I love it... She dreams a lot, and I enjoy watching her when she is... SO CUTE!!!
