| They’re at it again (Dennis loses for a second time) Is this some significant piece of wood I ask? Dennis & Lilly have just had a rematch over the stick found by Dennis but stolen by Lilly not very long ago, however this time I was able to witness the whole thing. I have tried to portray as accurately as I can the turn of events (hear goes) The patio doors are open Lilly has the stick in her mouth, has done for some time now continually walking up and down past Dennis in some kind of weird victory dance Knock at the front door! instinctively Lilly runs off to investigate the visitor, stick now taken by Dennis who makes his way the furthest end of the garden where he lays down with his ill gotten prize, chewing, with one eye on me and one on the back door. (Piece resides) Only the paper, Lilly returns fails to see the stick and looks at me with that look that implies (you have taken my stick) Dennis is now motionless with both eyes firmly on Lilly. Lilly spots Dennis with the stick and slowly makes her way up the garden in to a position where she can pounce on him. Dennis looks at me for support, nothing doing mate sorry. She lowers her head and calmly removes the stick from his grasp, Dennis reacts and off we go again!!!!!! The outcome the same Dennis backs off Lilly struts off with the prize oh dear mate what a look, oh well never mind the best advice I have seen today I will pass to you, when she is asleep steal it!! I will keep you all updated if this price stick causes any more problems Dad. Last edited by Garry; 07-11-2005 at 06:31 AM. |
