| my ladys dog bows I placed an order for her bows. She just replied and asked me if I wanted bows with bands or bows with barretts. Which do you guys prefer? BTW, this order is for a boy. Seeing as how bows are girly anyway, would barrets be over the top girly, or would it make putting thim in easier? What do you think? |

| It's all a matter of preference..the bows look the same in the hair either way. I prefer the bands but I have several bows with barrettes too so I like both. Lacy's hair cooperates better for me when I use the bands. No matter which type I use, I always put Lacy's topknot up with a band first. Then I put the bow on. The barrettes will slide right out of their hair if you don't put a band in it first.

| I only do bows w/ barrettes on the back....just as they are so much easier to put in. I still do a band to pull the hair back, but then just clip the bow over it. It makes it so much easier...IMO anyway!

| You will love her bows!!! They are great! We get the barrettes, but I think it is just a personal preference. Good idea about trying them both!

| Guess most of us use the band for the topknot and then put the barrettes in afterwards. I also like the clip ones.
