| water Any ideas what I can put in Bella's water to get her to drink it better? Long story short I have to hold her water bowl and try to get her to drink on demand and she isn't getting even close to enough. I need something to make her not be able to resist it

| Not sure what you can put in it to get her to drink, but is she attracted to running water? Maybe a Petwell drinking fountain might work.

| Yes, I was going to suggest a fountain also. When one of my dear old kitties had kidney problems the vet immediately suggested a fountain. It worked wonderfully! Most pets love to drink running water..and the motion also keeps it cooler. Plus, it's FUN!!

| Try mixing water in her food if you use wet food.....thats how I get my puppy to drink and stay hydrated.

| She is in a splint and can't lean down to drink out of her bowl, normally she drinks plenty. I can't leave her bowl in her pen with her because I can't get her splint wet and she is way to clumsy to chance her landing in the bowl. I love those fountains though lol

| You can get one of those water dispensers for like hamsters but they actually make them for dogs now. My moms dog used one of those for years! That way she doesn't have to bend over or anything. Last edited by parker; 01-12-2008 at 12:33 PM. Reason: spelling |

| IDEA! A baby bottle with a little bigger hole in the nipple! I bet if you fill it with super cold water and put a little honey on the tip...squeeze it and she'd love the way it spurts out. And it'd keep her dry....and be FUN too! LOL!! (I'm into the FUN stuff... )

| oh great ideas girls.. thanks so much. I really like the hamster type bottle idea and I think i've seen them at petsmart. I could hook it up to her pen... that would be wonderful. Cross your fingers I find something that works
