| What about a good sized crate where you can lock the door? One big enough for her food, water, toys, etc?

| I wish I could post pictures on here..We have 2 baby gates up in the kitchen, well, my 10 year old shih tzu is terribly afraid of thunderstorms and will jump the gate when it's thundering, fireworks, etc), well, hubby rigged up this really neat thing with stuff we had here...it's a huge poster board, and then he put this little thing on the back of it to fit over the gate..she can't jump over this... |

I have two of these and they are great! I would recommend them to anyone as they really are great for keeping dogs contained.

| I just looked at that one, I have 2(the shih tzu and my biewer) that could get up over that one..the shih tzu jumps that high, that's why my hubby had to build this thing that slides over the top of the gate, it goes up about 18 inches or more higher than the gate...good luck. |

| We have the First Years Hands Free baby gate, that can be used for children and pets. It has a foot pedal on it and is easy to open with your foot. There is no mesh on it so the girls can't get over it because their is nothing to get a footing on and it is too high to jump. These gates look nice too they do not mark the walls either as they are held in place by pressure, which is a bonus as well. My sister bought ours at Petsmart but she said she saw them at Walmart as well. ~Marly

| If it is a pressure type gate then you can angle it a little toward her and she cant climb it. I throw a heavy blanket over mine and they cant get their foot in the holes to climb it. |
