| There is a Biewer Yorkshire Terrier (pronouned Bee-VAIR I think). They were originally a German breed, descended from two regular Yorkshire Terriers that were carrying the piebald gene. You can google Biewer for lots of pics, and there are a few Biewer breeders here on YT. I am actually getting a Biewer puppy in February, here is what he looks like now...

| Holly's breeder also breeds Biewers. Her husband pronounced it "Beeva". It is German.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Yeah. If I ever got one (which I really hope to do one day) and someone asked me what kind of dog it was, I would pronounce it "b-you-er" because....beaver...just not working for me haha.

LOL Megan, I have struggled with that one. I get the question all the time on Nappy, and at first I would say beaver Yorkie and people thought I was being a smart**s!! Now I just say Biewer as we would pronounce it and I tell them about the piebald gene and German ancestry. And when they get the dear in the headlights look, then I just say " he's a tri-colored Yorkie LOL

| I know, pronouncing it beaver over here doesn't sound really good...I said something about my little beaver the other day, and you should have seen the look I got..so, I either same biewer(like in english) or I say my german yorkie |

| I always thought it was beev-air instead of beev-er
