| About once or twice a month i will treat Rusty for some egg for breakfast. i usually take out most of the yolk and scramble it, then mix it in with some kibble. He loooooves it But i'm not sure about it being good for their coats?

| My dad always said that raw egg over their food once a week is good for their coats. I would like to know if it is really good for them too. Thanks for asking this question.

| raw eggs is not good for them, but, I used to take an egg and scramble it for them, and then split it 4 ways, and did the same thing for the big dogs, it really made their hair shine..but, I have read to stay away from raw eggs.. |

| Thanks for posting this. I too have been wondering if feeding egg really did help with the coat.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I used to scramble an egg a week and give that to Lulu as a source of extra protein and a bit of a treat. It didn't do anything to her and she loved it. I had asked the vet because I had read about it and he said it was fine as long as it's not every day.
