| Mine is Desert Moon Yorkies. I have had that name for 20 some years. Its named after my favorite song from the 80's called Desert Moon by Dennis DeYoung. |

| Mine is just Dee's Lil' Yorkies. I picked it when I started breeding because I had already put Dee's Lil' Ceeby on his registration papers and named my other dogs Dee's Lil' whatever. But it isn't an AKC registered kennel name. When I inquired to AKC about that, I was told that you can't register your kennel name with them unless you are involved in showing or other AKC events and when you fill out your paper work, there is a page or two to put what event's plus the dogs names, you have done. Plus you have to register so many litters a year or so many within a five year period if they grant a "provisional" name. |

| I came up with mine because I wanted it to kind of pertain to where I live which is in the mountains of Colorado. I looked up foreign words and found that Shaila (prounounced Shyla) means mountain or large rock in an Indian language. (dont remember which one). I wanted blue because of the big blue skys in Colorado and the way the mountains look kinda blue covered in snow. So I came up with Shaila Blue which means Blue Mountains.
