| There are so many things wrong with this I can't believe anyone would go along with this idea. Can you imagine these orphans looking for a home and thinking they have one and it's just for a weekend and they go back to the kennel. Then doing that every week. How wrong is that! These babies need permanent homes not to be given temporary homes for a couple days then sent back and to do it continually over and over it's just cruel. They want love and stability and a permanent home. Not too mention is someone screening these people? Do they even know how to treat dogs, what to feed them and how to care for them properly? How do you know they aren't just getting these dogs to abuse them ... or even fight them? There's some sick people out there. I sure hope the animal control/welfare groups in that area are on top of this!

| This is just wrong on SO many levels...... I see where they could possibly think it's "good for the dogs" in that, they are homeless rescues and they evidently feel that the added socialization of a variety of home environments, etc. could help these furbabies (if you look at it as, "hey, it's better than where they came from"... ) but ANY transition for an animal is one that takes it's toll.... physically and emotionally.... not to mention constantly being bounced around from one family to another... the animal will never be able to trust or feel secure in his environment, no matter how much "love" the families feel they are giving for a day, a weekend or whatever. What's the ultimate goal of this "project"?? Are they making money on the "rental" of homeless dogs for profit?? Do they have any intention of using these "temporary rentals" as "test drives" for possible adoptions so that the dog eventually finds a PERMANENT home? I don't get it........... and I don't think I could support it......... (JMO)

| This has to be one of the most rediculous things I have ever heard of in my life!!! How the **** can you have a Dog go from home to home and just be like that for the rest of their life? Its like what the **** is the point of "renting" a dog for a weekend.. Oh yeah for selfish reasons!!! That business should be shut down ASAP!!! I am so freaking pissed after reading that... DAMN IT
