| When is a good time to start changing Rudy's food? He has been with us for 2 weeks and doing great I just want him on a better food.. I know that I should start slow and blend with old but wondering if it is too soon. Thanks so much..

| Ive had to change Meka's food twice since we got her at 9 wks. And, I just changed it...meaning I didnt have to change gradually. We've never had any problems and at 8 mo's shes is healthy and happy with Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul... Hope this helps

| We've had our puppy for exactly two weeks, and I just started changing her food last week. I read that you should increase the new food, and decrease the old food by 10% each day over a ten day period. So far, no problems. She was a puppy chow girl, and we are changing her to Artemis. Side question - will changing her food slow down her growth? She's 13 weeks at 4.8 pounds!!! I heard that puppy chow is like McDonalds, so I'm wondering if a better food will slow her growth? |
