do you have the pup allready? isnt six weeks kinda early to be leaving the mom?........ ive heard the rule that you double the weight at 12 weeks........ (but going by that scale my yorkie should weigh 6 lbs....... but i think hes going to be around the 7-8lb group)...... there was a neat little chart someone put up on here......

I think I freaked my wife out when I said he might weight 9 lbs. Apparently I over guessed though. We have a 2 year old female that is 5.5lbs. She is just about the right size. I think the boy may end up about 6-7lbs which is fine with me. Nothing against smaller yorkies but I also have a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old girl whom adore their dog, but they are still kids. My wife worked so hard to get this baby for me and I can't thank her enough.

My wife is being a GREAT sport and sends my photos of my Little buddy constantly. She has been working on his ears and I must say they are standing wonderfully. If things work out I may get to meet him in a couple of weeks. Any words of wisdom to pass on for potty training him?

what kind of potty training are you going to do? take him outseide? pee pads? litter box?...... regardless of what type you do they respond well to TREAT TREATS TREATS (i've even heard that someone's yorkie was fake peeing to get treats)

Congrats on your new puppy. Tiko took to potty training quite easily with treats. He uses a pad next to the bathtub. Treats worked so well after he got his treat he would squeeze out a few more drops just to get extra treats. at first it was exhausting, he would be peeing every 15-20 minutes just to get treats. Now he doesn't pee as much and most of the time he doesn't even pay attention to the treats. But he's very good at not having any accidents around the house.
