| Canidae users - question for you. Which Canidae product would you suggest for a puppy with food problems and possible colitis? I would prefer to use the dry because she likes dry better than canned and loves playing with her food. Thanks! |

| We don't use much Canidae here but there isn't too much difference in them. Whatever works best for you... I wouldn't use it for colitis though. It may not be bad but I don't think it is any better than other dog foods for this problem.

| I am just trying to figure out what to give her. I've been reading the link of the best foods posted on the site. My vet keeps pushing Science diet and hills prescription, but both are just 1 star foods and she vomits them up several times a week and is booty scooting often. Any suggestions on the best puppy food for colitis or just a very sensitive tummy? She is almost 6 months old and 3 pounds. |

| If you are open to homecooking, do a search for posts by "Wylie's Mom". Her dog, Marcel had major ibd/colitis problems and her nutritionist put him on a white fish, mashed potato, green bean diet. He did excellent with it. I agree on the Science Diet It is horrible stuff.

| I was using canidae also, the dogs loved it, and it seemed like a very good food, but, feeding 4 little and 2 big dogs, I had to quit as I couldn't afford it anymore..I think it's a fantastic food..now, I have them on nutro natural for their skin and coat, and they all seem to love that kind too.. |

| Our girls eat the Lamb and Rice formula from canadiae, and they love it. Shylah, has tummy trouble, we have to be very careful what kinds of treats and food we give her. She was originally on a Med Cal formula from the vet , and it was supposed to be for sensitive tummies but she wouldn't eat it very well and she still had tummy trouble. Now that she is on the Lamb and Rice formula, she has no tummy trouble plus they have a really nice coat. Oh and she really likes it too. ~ Marly

| Ive been feeding Canidae for over a year now.. I alternate between the all life stages and the lamb and rice so give her some variety. She has been doing great on it. The ingredients seem to be of a very high quality |
