| This is just awesome....i knit and crochet all of the time....have knitted since i was just 4 years old.....this is the first pattern i have seen that actually lookes like a sweater....i have knitted Smokey a couple of sweaters but they took forever because i had to figure out all the turns and things.....this will be awsome.......now if i can just figure out a way to keep his hair from matting up under the sweater.....keep those patterns coming....to the girl who is 20 and knits.....people used to make fun of me too.....some probably still do...but now i have men that will sit at a basketball game(daughter is a cheerleader) and watch me knit...i can straight knit without looking....so knit on

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Oh my gosh that is wonderful you learnt to knit at such a young age, WOW. I am like you, in straight knitting without having to look, I sure wish I could do that with my crocheting. I started a bed spread couple years ago prior to having the stroke (Victorian Pattern with beautiful Roses, so very lacey) I can't see properly to crochet with the fine thread any longer. God has been Blessing me to do other things that I love so I shant complain. Our girls both crochet, I think one of these days I'll package it up and give it to one of them to finish and be theirs Patti |

| sorry about the stroke....but there are a lot of magnefying glasses and even one that you sit in front of and hold your work under it....my aunt has one and she uses hers to read her newspaper......would be such a pitty to let something that sounds so beautiful go unfinished.....just take your time and see what happens.....crocheting is something you dont lose...you just have to figure out different ways....i crocheted when i had a cast on my right hand....had to fish yarn through the thumb whole and finish the whole skein before i could stop ...lol( that was many years ago- i was 13)....lol....but you get the point...dont stop.....keep trying.....let me know how it goes....
