| Curly Hair/Shaggy I have a yorkie whose coat I am trying to grow out. The only problems we are having thus far is 1) the hair on her back, near her tail is curly, will this straighten out any as it gets longer? She will be 2 years old next month so surely she has out grown her puppy hair. 2) The poor thing looks like she is trying to grow out a bad hair cut. It's not short, it's not long its just kind of shaggy. How long does this look last. |

| Is her coat thick and fluffy? Stewie, my dog in the picture under my name has a silky coat. Does it look like his? or does it look more fluffy? His lies flat most of the time and sometimes near his but it looks a little wavy when he needs a bath, but its never curly. I heard that cottony coats are more difficult to maintain because they're so thick and get tangled more easily. I'm sure someone can come along and offer you some more insight.

| Oscar has a cotton coat. It's now clipped, but it was wavy/curly. |
