Pics of Grey Yorkies??? Hey Everyone, As i posted yesterday Sadie went to the groomer and she came back pretty bare. I know her hair will grow back but i was really shocked not only at how short (about a 0.5 inch in most places) but that she is grey all over! I knew she was growing out and had lots of grey underneath but now she is ALL grey. She is 18 wks old and about 2.5 lbs. Does anybody have any pics of their grey baby??? All of my recent pictures are stuck on my camera. We just moved so i can't find the cable to get them on the computer. below is a pic taken awhile back.

Pippin is about the same age. I just took him to a groomer this last week and most of his puppy hair is gone. He is also very grey. It's hard to believe it's the same puppy. The hair on the top of his head is so fine and silky and doesn't look like theres much there. Poor little guy needs a stocking cap.

Txgurl, your baby is adorable and really eases my mind. It was such a shock yesterday that i cried and my husband asked if it was really our Sadie. I know it just means that our baby is growing up.... Sadie is going to look a lot like Skoshi!

This all started when we moved. We took Sadie out one morning and she found of all things a Black Widow Spider. My hubby found it on her face trying to bite her! Of course we panicked and took her to the emergency vet right away. (lovely things happen at 6:30am when everything you own is is boxes) So they had to shave half of her face so we could watch for any redness or swelling. they also immediately started her on antibotics. Luckily if there was a bite she didn't get any venom. We think it couldn't bite her through her hair. Well we went out of town this weekend to visit my MIL and so we boarded Sadie for the first time. I wanted her groomed to even out her face and when we picked her up they had cut her short EVERYWHERE! I'm just glad that the spider couldn't get to her. But now she is so short it could get her so of course the new house has been sprayed twice by my husband and once by professionals. I'm not taking any chances!

| Our little babies come in all shapes and colors. I wouldn't worry at all. It's perfectly normal.

See, I have a gray/white yorkie. That's my Rocky under my name. He's been gray since he was 5-6 months old, and over time, he has ended up looking like the picture. He is 5 years old now. Very good little boy! Darlene
