| I'm right there with you! Please let me know how you do with your pup. I just got mine almost a week ago, and I am in my 30s, career, busy, etc. Chloe has already visited the emergency room & I am constantly watching her to make sure she's breathing OK, not chewing on anything, etc. I have so many questions to post out here, but your post just stuck with me so I felt the need to respond! Feel free to reply if you have questions. You definitely have more time with your baby under your belt, but maybe we can help each other out. Last edited by cshuffield; 12-23-2007 at 03:23 PM. | Definitely don't be afraid to leave her to go shopping or just go out. Its good for her. She needs to sleep a lot anyway, stick her in her crate or in her room and let her rest while you are gone. I love taking my puppy with me places, but I only take her to places I know dogs are allowed. I'm not one to sneak her in places she's not supposed to be. If I'm going someplace she's not allowed she goes in her crate. And she loves it. She gets a nice nap, stays out of trouble, and is ready to play when I get home. She's used to me leaving her at home alone so there's no separation anxiety when I have to leave her at home or leave her with my mom. |
