Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | That IS fun! I can remember with both of our yorkies when we first got them we wondered, for what seemed like the longest time, if they would ever bark Well, once they got started, our question was answered without a doubt, YES THEY WILL!

| Bella howled a few days after we got her. She went into our bathroom, something startled her and she started howling. It was the cutest thing ever. Even now, she barks quietly but really howls and talks to you. Much easier on the ears than the loud woo woos of my lab.

| I remember the first time my Sophie made a sound. It was a while after we had gotten her. We were at the vet and she was in her plastic vet carrier. Anyway my husband and her are sitting there and a big dog walks by us all of a sudden we here a growl coming from inside the carrier I was like holy cow was that her. My husband was like I think so. We were laughing hysterically. Couldn't believe that a growl like that could come out of something the size of my hand. I really do love YT it helps me remember the little things.

| That is so sweet I can remember saying to my husband how I wished Otis would bark so I could see what his voice sounded like. He was so cute the first time he started barking.. It took him about 2 weeks to get used to us and the other dogs, but when he felt comfortable he started barking and playing with Oreo and us....

| I always will remember both of my boy's first bark. Now I wonder if Bruiser will ever stop barking?

| That's a lot of fun! My littlest one, Gina, weighs 1lb,4 oz, and when she barks she is louder than Boobah, who weighs 6lbs, 7oz!
