| I know,, its horrible! Our area has a Bargain Hunter paper, and under pets for sale, they have TONS of ads.. its so sad! We were in area one day,and stopped cause they had a sign out,,for Yorkie pups for sale,, I stopped just to be NOSY,, and he had em ,,for 1200.oo and in this big building, which I wasnt allowed in,, I said " $ 12oo.oo for a dog and I cant see their living area?" He said " maybe I should go" I said " Ya maybe I should. It could have gotten ugly! But, I'm sure people keep em in business!

| It is awful that those ads are posted, could there be some kind of a 'please come in and talk to us before you pop off to those sites' label somewhere? The one about the new and used teacups is just bizarre. What would a used teacup look like do you think? Did somebody try drinking tea from the dog? Just seeing the teacup word is such a hotbutton topic for me. Hard to ignore. |

| I saw that too! If these people aren't Amish then they should be ashamed of themselves for exploiting them. Plus it sounds really dumb...Amish puppies?? What, do they wear little black hats and bonnets and don't have electricity?? No offense intended. These ads just insult our intelligence!!

| You're not alone. I've been venting about the click ads since the dawn of time - one of the forums "Fav" "teacup" breeder's ads are also up there a lot of the time. I was thinking of suggesting that Yorkietalk do what Dogpatch.com does - have its own click ads with "approved" advertisers (yes, this is a bit self serving, I admit! lol). But I don't think us "little guy advertisers" who don't sell puppies would be able to generate the revenue YT needs . . I leave that to admin and understand the problem. |

| There is another add usually on the top which is for puppies for sale from Puppy Petite -- it's a MAJOR PUPPY MILL! The store is located in Brooklyn, NY (where I live) and it's about 5 minutes drive from my house. I have been trying to have it shut down for years! Makes me SICK! My friend bougth a dog there once (against MY STRONG ADVICE) and the poor dog died before it was 5 months old. They are USDA licensed and all of their poor dogs look so sick. Those people hate me because sometimes I (and other people) stand outside their store and try to talk people out of buying a puppy from them.

| Just a stupid question but aren't amish people not aloud to use electricity, television, internet? How are they posting the puppies online? LOL and if they are mingling with someone who is selling them online for them isn't that against their religion too? It's sad to think of all those sad helpess puppies being held by bad backyard breaders and puppymills!

| I have nothing against Amish people but they do not have electricity, running water, etc. there is a big community down by us in Mcintire Iowa they do not take good care of their animals every horse, cow , goat ,sheep ,dog all look underfed and not kept up .I would by nothing from them for animals they do have lovely gardens though and sell good produce. It is suppose to be against their religion to do things they should not (internet etcc) |
