| Story to Share Hello everyone! I read about the 40 yorkies at the puppy mill (disgusting place - poor little babies - so glad they have been rescued) and it made me think of my little baby. Jeanie had really wet eyes yesterday, and we looked at them closer and they were really goopy. So we took her to the vet and she had a minor eye infection - so we got the ointment (yay). They look better today already. Made me think of how lucky she, and so many babies on this site are that they have someone to love them, take care of them. As soon as something is wrong, we know right away, because we are paying attention. They get to be tended to when sick, and spoiled. I feel so bad for the puppies of the world that don't get that............breaks my heart. I saw a man that considers himself to be quite the "dog" person ( you know the kind ). They know EVERYTHING! He says to me "an eye infection, she's not even a year old"........and I corrected him - yes she is over a year now. So he says "did you take her back to the breeder and get another one" what is he crazy. She's my BABY!! Oh how awful. what a thing to say. So when I got home I was talking to Jeanie, and I told her - did you know that we are supposed to take you back when you have an infection, and she (right on cue) stuck her little tongue out at me. It was PRICELESS. (I attached a picture from a while back with her tongue sticking out so you can see). Isn't she too cute!!! I just love every minute, every second I get to spend with my little darling. I love her so much. She's more precious than words can possibly say. Just wanted to share.............thanks for reading. |

| Take her back? What is he nuts?? OMG, that is crazy and I can understand why you'd be shocked. Kalina is my baby too. I think my jaw would drop to the floor if someone said that to me. Your little one is absolutely adorable. Tell her to give that guy the raspberries.

| The funny thing is when I said very abruptly "NO!" to his remark, he kind of rolled his eyes and did that pouf with his mouth like to say "what an idiot you are that you don't know you should take your dog back and get another one"... What a jerk! Even if I had Jeanie 1 day, and she had an eye infection, I was already in love with her and would not have taken her back for nothing! |

| She's so smart. When I feed her in the morning, she eats as long as I am in the kitchen, when I walk away, she goes to the baby gate (if it's up - like when I am getting ready to leave) to see what I am doing. When I come back in the kitchen, she goes right back over to her food like to say "I'm being a good girl Mom, I'm eating". Oh the many things she does that just kill me.........the yorkie is truly a gift from GOD! |

| She is beautiful. This time of the year I always feel bad for the dogs in the pound that won't be home for Christmas.

| I agree with all of you. It's sad that all dogs don't have someone to love them like we love our babies. I was just at the Mall this weekend with my husband and son and went into the pet store there. I just wanted to tell those people off big time, those poor babies looked dirty and Sad. I couldn't bare to look at them. I felt so soory for those babies and anyone who might buy them. I love Lucy so much I can't even imagine what I would do if something happened to her. Like I tell my son... I pray for her just like I do you.

Our pups are indeed lucky -- they've got it good -- but they give back so much more than they recieve!
