| Very Interesting So there is this breeder with one of those fancy websites and fancy PRICES on Yorkies. The person advertised in my local paper, and their ad SPECIFICALLY say t-cup yorkies...YET when you go to this person's site, they have this full tirade about a t-cup yorkie being a MYTH and how no one can really tell you that a dog will stay that small. THEN WHY DID YOU WHO DECRY THE PRACTICE PUT IT IN YOUR NEWSPAPER AD????? Interesting. |

| My assumption is because typical people don't know that there is no such thing as a "t-cup" Yorkie. By putting it in their ad, they are hoping to get a greater response. Hopefully the person has a very good F.A.Q. page regarding t-cups on their website and that they don't exist. If the people that read the ad go to the website, they will get more information about t-cups and that they don't exist. So at least the person that placed the ad received more "foot traffic" to their website. Traffic that might not have happed if not for the "t-cup" in the ad. At least I hope that was their intent by putting it in their newspaper ad. I know many Yorkie websites that use key word advertising on google use "t-cup" as a key word that way people can see their website when they search using the word "t-cup". This is just to get the people to the site THEN the owner can describe the facts regarding "t-cups". I can't tell you how many people call us and ask specifically for a "t-cup" or "tiny". Not everyone understands that there is no such thing and the problems they are in store for (many times) with a very small Yorkie.

| Hopefully people will go to their website before purchasing a pet.
