Forgive me... I'm new here :-) I may be posting in the wrong spot, maybe there is a SCAM forum I am unaware of, but I wanted to share this with you: SCAM! Just google Lili and Mailo Yorkies I think I have managed to alert a mojority of the websites that this is a scam, but I'd hate for anyone to actually get suckered in to it! http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search There is a person offering 2 yorkies for adoption. Beginning fee is $100 then it is raised at first contact and shipping is added. Thankfully I know better than to fall for this, but I KNOW someone who truly desperately wants a Yorkie to love and cherish is going to fall for this crap. Now this isn't to say there aren't legitimate offers to adopt out purebred dogs for no or very little money. I gave my purebred Cocker Spaniel away to a lady with children that loved her very much. I feel obligated to spread the word though :-)

Welcome to yt and thanks for the information. There are a lot of people who really take advantage and need to be exposed. A thorough and patient person who want a furbaby hopefully will not be taken in.

There's been so many of those scams going on, it's just so sad. What I don't get though, is that people have posted comments on that particular ad, to warn others that it's a scam...but yet so many other people keep posting saying they're interested and asking the poster if they still have the puppies left Why do some people just completely ignore the warnings??

| Exactly, you'd think it's common sense for people to steer clear when they get warnings like that Quote:

I agree completely All I've seen out there in relation to Yorkie sales is scams. I'm desperately trying to find a sister for Lexus and all I end up getting are those scammers who want me to send them money so they can ship a puppy from god knows where! Please watch out for puppy scams, as I have found lately every puppy I enquire about is a scam. Try googling the seller's email address and you often find out some heart stopping info - DON'T LET THEM WIN. They are making it hard for all of us to find a true puppy. Word of wisdom, if you cannot talk to the seller on the phone (or they are not in the area - Winnipeg), do not buy from them. Sellers claim they are in NFLD, BC, and even Cameroon! Here are some email address of recent scammers that have replied to me: Jessica Fabrice [fabricejessica@yahoo.com] stela meya [stela_meya@yahoo.com] Kim Vanessa [vanessa_k1my@hotmail.com] stacey withrow [staceywithrow@yahoo.com] jessica maria [jessica_awazi@yahoo.com]
