| Yorkie Rescue Railroad Is there one of these? I was wondering because I travel a lot and I belong to a boston terrier rail road. Does anyone know? You know... if not.... we could save each other a lot of expenses if we started one of these and stop shipping Yorkies everywhere. I mean there are so many Yters on here across the country. Just a thought.... wondered if anyone else had had it already? |

| There have been 'YT Trains' in the past. But someone brought up a good point. There are a lot of 'new' people here and while some may mean very well, there are unfortunately ALOT of deceiving people out in the world. So, personally, I wouldn't trust it You are a Puppy Broker correct? |

| I Have done YT Trains. If there were a Rail road. I And Others agree You need to Prove that you are a Good Person. Sad to say but there are People that do not have the best interests of our pets in mind. I know that they have a site that Truckers help pets. here http://katrinafoundpets.com/truck_n_paws.htm It is called TRUCK-N-PAWS |

| We've had a few that were successful. I think it would depend on how well you knew the people that would be on it.

I think there have been some 'trains' on here before, but it's always dealt with on a case by case basis... | |

| just asking I am not a puppy broker. I was just asking because I was thinking of ways to get rescue pets on here to people that want them... w/o flying them. For instance... that little baby that was left alone after his mother died (and I am in no way wondering about that specific puppy) ... what if there was a really good owner in Iowa.... that wanted the dog... the dog was tramatized enough... so YT could have a railroad... although... I was really just asking if there was another one out there. The railroad I am on is all rescue... if you are traveling you post your route and if they are needing to get a puppy from a shelter to a foster or something you help them out. It works out nice on several occasions... and gives people a chance to give back. If you were incinuating that I would want to broker puppies around you obviously know nothing about me. I do take puppies back and forth from my mother's ... occasionally... and I live in Va and she lives in AR... but I have only sold one puppy to someone that wasn't a local person that heard about me from someone that already had one of my puppies. I was just thinking that if I do get to go home for Christmas I could post not only on the BT railroad... but a yorkie or maltese or min. schnauzer website... the breeds I love and own. I figured if anyone knew if one exsisted it would be the people here. And yes... on the BT railroad they check people out before they send the puppies w/ them. It is a labor of love that dedicated people organize. |

| another point They don't just take a joe blow off the streets. The people in these are a heck of a lot more trustworthy than some airline that throws your dogs cages around... where they can come apart... get out... freeze to death. If you ever see a 20/20 or 60min special that I saw a long time ago... you would never ship your dog! So... just pointed out that this has the most members of any site I've ever been on... or at least more active ones.... it was just worth a shot to see what people thought about the idea... |

| bama If you read anything about what I have always written. My parent's both live in Arkansas... it is a familly friend that I get my dog's from... although that has nothing to do w/ me offering my driving services to someone. My parents live in arkansas... I own 2 homes in arkansas... we are military is the only reason we are out here... . now do you understand? or do I need to spell it out more... because I know how much you like to run me down. I was simply offering to drive any rescues... as I travel and w/ my pets anyway! Get it? Got it? Good. |

| "your" puppies meaning you bred the dam and sire and raised it in your home? I guess this goes to show that not everyone's definition of "broker" is the same. I consider it to be someone who sells another person's dogs for them and is paid by that breeder and profits off of what they are doing. IMO, that makes someone a broker, even if you are doing what you feel is in the best interest of the dogs, you are still acting as a broker. |
