| someone stole a Yorkie in my town On the local news tonight, they have video surveillance of a man and woman stealing a yorkie from a music store. The thieves later called the owner to ask for a reward. He said "gimme a break" and they hung up. Now that its been on the local news, maybe they will catch them. They had some pretty good footage of them both! People are so terrible!!

| Stories like this scare me so bad. I hate people who steal dogs But the owner just said "give me a break" when the thieves called? Umm..I know it sucks but I think I'd sure give them what they wanted to get my dog back

| Ginger is back On the news, they just said that the dog has been returned. They had some really good pictures of the thieves from security video. I bet they got scared someone was going to recognize them. Anyway...A happy ending!!!

| My thoughts exactly. "Give me a break" just sounds like the owner didn't even care |

| How horrible, but I wouldn't pay them either. Also, considering caller id and cellphones, the guy probably got their number. |

| Some people are just so pathetic! There's this one puppy store by where I live and people have stolen puppys from there a few times. They have those open cages throughout the store (against the wall and in the middle of the store) with room to walk around them. You just walk right in and can pick them up and can even play with them on one side of the store where they have little fences set up. I can't say I haven't been tempted to take one...they just look so sad and sometimes they're practically sitting in their own poo. But people have stolen dogs form there a few times...once someone stole 8 dogs.. they said the person had on a trench coat (i'm guessing it must have had a ton of pockets) lol. Anyway, I'm glad the store got their puppy back.
