| Trouble getting along... We have a female Yorkie who is four years old and we have male Yorkie who is 6 months old. We've had the puppy about three months. Gracie accepted Avery great when we got him and brought him home and even now, she likes him, but lately they're fighting over toys!!!! I don't know what to do about it. I can get TWO of the same thing and give them to them at the same time, but there's one or the other of them who wants BOTH. Why are they doing this? Also, I'm giving Avery puppy food and Gracie adult small kibble. They only want each other's food!! I've separated them to eat, then neither of them will eat a bite! Just today I decided I had to do something so they will eat, whatever it is! So, I mixed their two kibbles (half and half) and gave them exactly the same thing and they both pigged out! I KNOW the puppy should only have puppy food, but he wasn't eating ANYTHING, so this was better than that. I think I'll give Gracie a little less quantity to make up for the extra calories in the puppy food. |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | they're just like brother and sister. they always have to have what the other one has. eventually they'll get used to it. as for the food it sounds like you have a good idea going on.

| I would let them alone. Allow them to work out their own problems. As far as the eating, I would let that alone too.
