| Very Very Important! Everyone listen up! Today I saved a dog's life ! A yorkie was left in a car with the windows cracked open. The dog was panting and crying. It would have been dead if I didn't call the police and find the owner. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGS IN THE CAR under any circumstances, the temperature inside a parked vehicle can spike to 160 degrees in minutes, even with windows open! I, and about 8 other people called the cops, who came and gave this idiot a ticket. If I see this I always call the police and report ANIMAL CRUELTY. |

| Good for you! That makes me so mad!!!! I'm so glad you were there and took action. I can't believe people do that this time of year but I hear about pets or kids dying in cars every year. They say it doesn't even have to be really hot outside to make the temp inside the car go up enough to kill somebody. I wish he had given the dog to someone whom cares.

| Way to go! I hope those owners learn their lesson before it is too late. And being such a small dog, why couldn't they just take it with them??? I hope that little guy/girl is ok. My love goes out to him/her. By the way... what is a pox? |

| Oh how true. Good for you, that poor baby! I write for the local newspaper, and a few weeks ago I did a story on just this - how fast the car heats up and how dangerous it is for animals.

| I know I am preaching to the choir but If you see a pet in a parked car please call the police. This is the only way to get to these type of people, hit them where it hurts- their wallets! Take down license plate numbers and most importantly make sure the dog is okay- they should be taken to the VET even if they appear okay. |
