| Electric toothbrush Do any of you use electric toothbrush to brush your baby's teeth? I was thinking of using my Sonicare on them because it comes with extra replacement heads, but I'm scared it might get their teeth sensitive and numb. I think an electric toothbrush would work better because it strokes faster than your hands so you will only need half the time to brush their teeth. I would like some inputs... Thanks!

| We asked the vet about this. She is into the whole dentistry thing... She said it is fine if Ellie will tolerate it. Ellie doesn't tolerate it AT ALL. Nice thought but didn't work for us.

| I have tried it last night, but only one tolerated it. My pretty boy didn't seem to mind at all, hence the name pretty boy. My biggest girl HATED it! My youngest.. I just used their doggy toothbrush on her and she was good with it since that was my first time brushing her teeth. So that's why I'm wondering if it gets their teeth too sensitive or numb.

| hmmm. I don't know , but I think if the vet says it is okay, then I would try it. I might try that on my little one. I think it is a good idea, if they will tolerate it... |

| Please ask your own vets though... Ellie has periodontal disease, so every little bit of effort to keep her teeth clean helps. She wiggles so bad that I get all scratched up. It is horrible.

| yeah i agree. it may be too rough for some of them? or if they squirm or move around, the plactic part could easily hurt them.

I will always be comfortable using them on any of my dogs but you know how it goes. There are hundreds of thousands of vets in this world and they do not all agree. I don't want to get any of you in trouble with your own vet or be responsible if something goes wrong.

| Yeah, I should ask my vet lol. It was worth a try last night. My girl went crazy just hearing the buzzing noise! Even with a regular toothbrush, she won't allow me to go near her.
