| How she's doing...its been a while Hello! ive been gone for a while. ive had a BUSY past few weeks. and now im trying to get x-mas stuff all set up too.. im going to WI for xmas to stay with my folks for a few days.. so ive got to get that stuff all figured out too! Anywho.. heres an update on my little baby. I have chosen to name her Pheobe( i cant remember if i had posted my decision on my name thread). I was a HUGE friends fan and ive seen a yorkie with the name chandler bing.. and i guess thats sorta where it came form. i didnt really like it that much at first..but i used it to see where it would go and now i love it, cuz it fits her so well.. and she already knows and comes to it.. and i ADORE the nickname "FEEBS". so i guess that problems solved. But man o man! SHE IS A POOP EATER!! i swear, i have to watch her like a hawk outside or she'll poop and then immediately eat it. i dont know what the heck her problem is!!! its really grossing me out though. ive been yelling at her and tapping her on the butt everytime she does it and it seems like she might be starting to lose interest in eating it. but she might just be growing out of that stage... shes 16 weeks and 2 days old today... about what age are they at when they have thier full coat? im so excited for it!!! im going to be getting some pictures of her soon here.. so ill be posting those

| Most of the time dogs eat their own feces because they are lacking nutrients in their diet. I would think about switching her food. There are also products you can put on their food so that their poop tastes bad (as if it shouldn't taste bad enough already )

| Meat tenderized sprinkled on their food helps with the poop eating. I love the name Pheobe!

| It would be a good idea to watch your furbaby also when potty time comes and get it up immediately. I had the same problem with Rockie but he does not do it anymore |

| I hope you are able to break her yucky habit. I've never had the problem, so I'm not a great helper.

| well. the food switching thing was my first though.. she was on eukanuba small puppy when i got her.. but a i switched her food. she's been on Innova Puppy for a little over a week. so that could possibly be why she's slowly starting to stop. maybe its just taking a while. she was on a half and half eukanube/innova mix for about 5 days and shes been on completely innova for almost 4 days now. ill try meat tenderizer... why the HECK does that work??? just sounds weird to me. as for picking up the poop right away, i usually cant even get to it. she NEVER hardly poops inside( or in her kennel). i have her on a pretty well set schedule so shes almost mistake proof potty trained. and when she goes outside she goes way inside the bushes and likes to do it where she's practically hidden or away from anyone.. its weird, because my setter does the SAME thing. he will NOT poop if you watch him.. when he was little i had to actually spy on him to make sure HE WAS pooping.. i knew he was but hey.. i HAD to have proof. thanks for all the replies!!!!
