| Yikes! 5.5 pds at 12 weeks? Wow! Yoda weighed 5.5 pds. today at his 12 week appt.. The breeder said he should weigh around 7 pds. fully grown. Is there a possibility that he may still weigh around 7-8 pds? If anyone has had a yorkie this size, I would love to hear your story! I would love to see any pictures of your yorkie if it weighs between 8-10 pds.! We were hoping for a smaller dog, but we love him anyway!!!!!! |

| I highly doubt he'll stay under 7lbs if he's 5.5lbs at 12 weeks. Lacy was slightly over 3lbs at 12 weeks and is now 7.5lbs. Just guessing - I'd say yours will be 12-15lbs full grown

| Weight can be at times hard to tell. But IMO I think you have yourself a Teapot. Buddy was 6.5 lbs at 14.5 weeks when I purchased him. I would say he was your pups size at 12wks. Gaining approx 1lb a month until he was 12 months old. Today he is 15lbs and all Yorkie. The larger ones are wonderful, however, if you wanted a smaller one I would speak to your breeder. Did you see the parents? |

| Mckenzie was 1.5 lbs at 11 weeks and now at 9 months she's 3.8 ish, so I'd say your pup would likely end up on the bigger side -- around 12 lbs or so. I love the larger yorkies though! I think they are beautiful! |

| Elphaba was 1.75lbs at 9 weeks and 3.1lbs at 16 weeks. We still have some growing to do but I'm thinking she'll end up around 5lbs. |

| I doubt if you'll have a seven pounder, but you can never tell.
