| Help! Seperation Anxiety!! I just don't know what to do! This morning I took Lily to the groomers for her first complete grooming. (Usually she just goes in for a pedicure & sanitary trim) I dropped her off at 8 and pick her back up at 12. This is the first time I've had to leave her and it is not going well. There is major seperation anxiety. Whining, crying, whimpering....everything. I am so torn over this. I am thinking about treating the anxiety with a Xanax. Yes, I know thats a little extreme, but I don't know what else to do. I'm sure useing that will be ok as long as I use an age/weight appropriate dose. My poor husband it at his wits end with it. The crying is driving him crazy as he is not able to offer the kind of comfort needed. I really had no idea it would be this bad. * * * * * Oh....I should probably mention that the one with the seperation anxiety is ME. Lily is doing fine. But I miss my baby sooooooo much! *sniff sniff* It felt so wrong to come back into the house with no little girl jumping on me and giving me kisses. I think the cat is actually missing her to I guess when she goes to get spayed I will be a wreck! I'm a mommy...I worry, it's what I'm good at!

| Well, I survived! Lily was happy and all prettified when I picked her up. When she got home,Tigger (our cat) even let her give him kisses and nibble his ears! So I suppose he must have missed his sissy to! My husband patted my head and gave me treats and told me what a brave big girl I was! I think he may be considering scheduling a thorough psychiatric exam for me,LOL!

| All of you are just so silly. You really had me going. Well if your husband does schedule you an appointment don't mention anything about YT or yorkies. They will totally think that you are nuts and then they will come on here and diagnose all of us as nuts too. LOL. I am happy that your baby is beautiful and back home safe and sound. It does get better with time.
